so tired...
Oct. 9th, 2013 09:35 ambeen on my xp mode since forever.
was happily typing in japanese words from the short story and the hiragana and the definition onto a quizlet flashcard set - something i'll never be able to do on my mac since it'll crash once i change languages. still have not found a way to fix that sigh. so troublesome...
room packing is pretty much settled, and i started reading a little today. finished reading that sherlock manga in japanese at last... so i was like 'hey, let's read the platinum data manga next!'. Big mistake. This platinum data manga is not for kids. Not for like 3 or 4 year old kids anyway. There's hardly any hiragana helper in the text at all... which means i cant read like most of the kanji that's appearing >< forces me to check up the dictionary but... i kinda stopped after like 3 pages and decided to read something else for the time being ><
Its not that i cant understand the conversation... i can understand the kanji just fine, but i dont know how to pronounce the darn thing in japanese ><
maybe i should read my bakuman manga first instead...or maybe read up more on grammar... ><
meet up with my long lost juniors for dinner. ok, not lost... just... the last time we meet was like... when i was in jc? that's like 6 or 7 years ago. and sigh i was totally reminded of just how smart and elite ppl from my sec sch are. yeah, my secondary school weiqi juniors.... those lot of smart asses. 1 has a GPA of 3.9 out of 4, and is an astar scholar, the other is doing a double degree and has a GPA of 4.97 out of 5. crazy crazy monsters RAWR! sighz. too smart for me >< i never was their match and probably never will be... but all's well... i never was a studies/exam person anyway.
just glad i got a new job... and since i'm still free two weeks later when the duo are gonna meet up, i've opted to join them again. afterall i was getting a little bored staying at home all day.
tmr my sis's friend is coming over. nice timing haha... if i've not ended work last week my room would still have been in an utter mess.
