Ok.

1) most or less done with packing my room

2) went jogging today... acording to my dad and google maps the route is about 9.8km. i feel accomplished.

3) been watching bits and pieces of the world artistic gymnastics 2013, and i was totally shocked when i saw the interview vid and found out that uchimura is freaking married AND has a daughter.

like WTF????

LIKE SERIOUSLY???

He got married at the end of last year and his daughter was born in april this year... LIKE??!?!?!?!

This guy is my age.

He's 4 times world all around champion.

London olympics all around champion.

Married. with a kid. and my age :X

man.

did i mention that he just broke the Guinness world record for the most number of world championships held? Well more like he broke his own record of 3 to make it 4. And with this 4th, he also beats Svetlana Khorkina who had 3 world championships (not consecutively though).

its like ohno being flabbergasted to find how... who's that... ronaldo? is his age?

but at least ohno you're a freaking accomplished man in your own right...

ah but anyways... that aside...

uchimura is just crazy. still a 1.9 score lead over his teammate and 2nd place finisher kato ryohei. i seriously think this man will continue to be world champion next year... like how long will his reign last? he got 3rd in high bar finals, 3rd in floor, and a tied 1st in parallel bars. and also the only man to post over 15 points in all 6 apparatus. this guy is a monster seriously.

to quote this news article:

In 2009, Uchimura won by 2.575 points — the margin separating second place from eighth place.

In 2010, Uchimura won by 2.283 points — the margin separating second place from 13th place.

In 2011, Uchimura won by 3.101 points — the margin separating second place from 14th place.

In 2012 (Olympics), Uchimura won by 1.659 points — the margin separating second place from eighth place.

In 2013, Uchimura won by 1.958 points — the margin separating second place from eighth place.

and the japanese men's gymnast team is certainly coming up strong. that 17 year old shirai kenzo is crazy. crazy FX routine... 7.4 difficultly - world's highest D score. He does need to work a lot on his execution though, not very tidy... but still... he's only 17! he's got a lot of room for improvement but his youth is definitely on his side. he's first senior year and major comp and he's 1st and floor (duh!) and 4th in vault. Definitely the guy to watch out for. I wonder how's his other 4 apparatus like though :P

alright... i shd... try and read up some japanese stuff... have not started studying yet >< should start now that my table is actually clean :X
