holiday cut short...

i woke up this morning to find 2 emails and a miss call from ntu HR.
Apparently the HR had overlooked my proposed start date and sent me instructions abt reporting to the HR on wedn... and later sent a correction asking if i could start work this wedn.
And since i'm just bumming ard at home playing maple (mostly)... i thought... heck? i might as well cut it out and start earning my worth... so yup. Tmr's my last day of 'freedom'. Well i was hoping to hit lvl 200 in kms before i start work but... all's well. I tend to treasure my time more when i have less of it... in a way... :X
but i guess i've accomplished quite a bit during my break. tidied up my room and all... didnt quite get round to studying japanese though >< but i probably wouldnt have gotten much further if i had another week and a half break :X
so someone's gonna start on wedn with me as well... i wonder who. i'll get my photo taken for the staff card, get my email, get a library orientation... not bad at all. and the irony of it all? i'll be going to the student services center... someplace which i've never been it after all 4 years of studying at ntu. LOL.
meh. 8:30am. that's the bad thing. i suck at mornings and would have very much preferred a 9am start but ah wells... that's how the whole university is ran... even the first classes of the day start at 8:30am. well for sure i'll miss all my bumming ard the house, since i was still expecting to be able to slack till the end of next week, but i'm certainly excited as well.. new job, in the institute i've wanted... funny thing is, i hard a dream about IBN/work this morn, and the previous times just before HR contacted me. I dismissed it earlier as just me wanting to get the job so damn much, but this morning too? too much of a coincidence maybe.
well well... new phone - check. fibre broadband - installation coming next wedn. new wallet - check. neater room and usable table - check. just need a new lappy i guess... maybe next year :X
and a new bag... sigh. and i'd only gotten this timberland bag at the start of the year!!! and and and its already got a tear in the straps... the seam came off... >< sigh. gotta try and sew it back tmr... i guess i abused my bag too much. carrying my lappy to and fro everyday was too much for my shoulders and my bag. my shoulders are like aching everyday now. still. :(
maybe its just me getting too old :(
ah and my old phone... still undecided what to do with it yet... :X maybe i shd just... restore to factory default settings and then jailbreak it. and install an emulator, and my pokemon games! yes. pokemon that's for sure. as for whether to factory restore first... guess i'll have to read up on jailbreaking first. hopefully there's still some jailbreaking files for 3gs lying ard? idk. i'll a good girl and have never jailbroken my phone before...
