Freaking pissed now. Lappy just doesn't want to cooperate today when i'm doing this particular dangerous work. Hanged up for mighty long. Waited over half an hour for it to restart, and now it's freaking hanging up again. Pissed pissed pissed. Seems like I really freaking need to get a new Mac soon. This is bad. I'm only 1/3 done with that dangerous work. And I have another half done episode. And another episode that I'm about 5 minutes done. And another episode that's one minute done. Seriously... arghs.


The good news is that I'm a little free at work now. Because I don't have any pending experiments to do till my sups get back to me... the bad news is, I can't do subs at work. The other bad news is, I will probably have properly work kind of work to do soon.

Ah. No luck with the jweb entries still. All I'm getting is repeats now. Not even new entries from the members! I think after 4 or 5 days I only got a single new entry on a first day, and the rest were all repeats. Sigh.

Maybe I could try working on some fics. Or some translations. We'll see.

Great! This news just made my day happier. Oh that and twosen's translations of today's AD. Because I'm the lazy pig who doesn't read the original Japanese transcripts, and is too lazy to DL and listen to the audio. Whee a week long Hawaii AD! Looking forward to the rest of the week!

Woots. This is crazy. Seriously. Crazy. I'm going to die next month. I can tell you that. Why are there no public holidays in November here? I would like, edit the photo itself, but I'm in the office now so...

But well. It's finally revealed. The air dates of Hawaii AnShi!

In the Nihon television group (NTV) show [Arashi ni Shiyagare] (Saturday 10pm) hosted by the popular group [Arashi], the members were closely followed as during their vacation when they went o Hawaii for their 15th anniversary concert. It was been decided that the Special episodes will air on the 1st and 8th of November.

The location shot was boldly filmed after the 2 day concert involving over 30,000 fans in Hawaii ended, in the last third of September. Because the 5 of them are always busy, the private time spent one to one with the director was a really precious 'off' time.

The way of passing the time differed for each of them. Ohno Satoshi (age 33) was fully satisfied with fishing. Sakurai Sho (age 32) did an expeditious tour of Kailua island with a perfectly allocated time schedule. Ninomiya Kazunari (age 31) went to Ko Olina where the concert venue was. Aiba Masaki (age 31) made for the surfboard workshop in order to buy a surfboard for Matsumoto Jun (age 31).

Enjoying his shopping trip in the Honolulu city center, Matsumoto said, "Because I did not drive by myself, it was a comfortable shopping experience. I really have no idea if the time spent would be appropriate for TV." He seems really relaxed. "Because I have completely no idea how the rest of the members spent their time, I'm looking forward to watching it during the studio recording."

Producer Tanaka Hiroshi, who proposed the segment, said confidently, "The members were purely thinking about how to spend their free time. It will be a segment that will show their individuality that's been cultivated for 15 years." Matsumoto appealed, "What kind of vacation did we have, what kind of souvenir did we prepare, please wait for it eagerly!"

Ok, so I do have the repeat the tests. Which was expected. It'll be the third time I'm doing some of the sets now... ><

Well not NOW as in now, now though. Because they are still calibrating the machine. So I'll just play save and only do my experiments after we get confirmation that the machine is fine. One because I'm lazy. And two because we don't have that much sample left. Better not waste them really. I don't even know if the machine will be up tomorrow. Better to just wait and see. I did check out the samples in the lab though, there's a bunch of really old samples that I need to test too.

And sigh. It's not fun working with Ag2SO4. I have loads of holes in my jeans now. A hell lot more than I thought last time. Well the acid did not completely eat through the cloth to create a hole, but its threadbare in various spots now - I guess they'll become actual holes in a few more washes. And showing up white in the dark blue jeans. This really, really sucks. It's a brand new pair at that. Not yet a month old. And this! It's only the second time wearing it... well the first time I wore it was during those two weeks when I did a hell load of experiments needing that strong acid. So much so for wondering how others got acid on their pants. I got it too and I have no idea what happened either. Grrrr...

Gotta be a lot more careful next time... sigh... at least none of it splashed on my face, or skin. Or watch. I kinda need a new watch though. Idk what happened to it, must have banged it against the wall or something, because it's pretty dented now. Sigh. Didn't even notice it till like NOW. Sigh. I'm spoiling my stuff left right center. Well at least I've been using the watch for what... 5, 6 years? Since early on in uni? And it's October now. So that means my earphones has lasted a whole year at least. I think it's dying though. I keep debating whether I should buy a new pair now. Or wait till it really spoils. >< Why does it have to be so freaking expensive? Sigh.

Why are there no public holidays in Nov? We have one day next Wedn for deepavali. But there won't be any Hawaii stuff to translate! Assuming I finish abunai this week as planned of course. Well probably I could attempt to clear a little backlog of the older shows that's in various stages of translation. Or maybe I should just enjoy myself and catch up on that 1.5 months of shows.

Weekends are seriously not enough! It's a fight between...
Family time.
Parents nagging at me to exercise.
Arashi time, which has to be further sub divided to:
Subbing
Watching Arashi shows
Writing fanfics
Listening to mixlr broadcasts. Or broadcasting if no one else is broadcasting.
Reading fics, magazine translations etc

Well pretty much the same for weekdays too, just that we don't go out on weekday nights that often. There's still the family time issue though, dinner time and parents wanting to watch shows together. I tend to just watch a little and go back to my room though. Have not watched running man properly in months! Seems like I won't be able to do mixlr broadcasts for a while now... hahaha ><

Guess that's all for now? Let's see if I can get another fic out. Or another translation. Or something.
