Maybe because I'm not a SMAP fan so this is the first time I'm hearing this... And it came as such a shock because they have always been around, always been at the top...

I wonder what the four will do after leaving JE. Will they still stick around the entertainment industry? Will they still stay in 'public view'? Like... They could do stuff like open a shop etc... Fans will still support them in droves...

Makes me wonder how Arashi felt when they heard the news. They've probably heard it mentioned by the SMAP members themselves? Or at least through the grapevine.

I wonder if... they felt how I felt... How I've felt at my workplace when I suddenly find out that someone is leaving, or worst still, has already left...

Edit: Yeah, I've been looking around and there's still no official source. No idea if this is just a false rumor... In which case it would be really mean of them. This is like... All over the morning news now it seems... I wonder just what is happening. Such a huge news... Unlike those dating rumors, they won't report this if there's no basis? I have no idea... *sigh*

According to the morning news, they will stay in the entertainment world, following their manager, who also left.

But there has been no official announcement, and all articles are based on the one from nikkan sports...

...on the other hand, maybe there will be more collaboration if SMAP's manager has left? The end of the factions would really help soften the blow for me.
