Merry Christmas!!!

coolohohIt's the holiday season!!!
Say, did I tell you something funny about unsup?
I took leave next Monday. And the following Monday. So I'll have a 2.5 day work week next week, and the week after hurrah! But anyway... Even though I told unsup about it before I applied for my leave... someone she mistook it as me being on leave from 21st till the 28th. AND as a result she was piling me with stuff to do the past few days again. I was like... wait.. why does it feel like she's working me to death again? She even mentioned like 'before you go on holiday'. But I was thinking "But I'm only gone for 1 day!". LOL. No wonder! Hilarious. Now I know. It's the 3rd time she's done this and well n=3... when I'm going on holiday, I'll get DROWNed in work. Like before I went to Australia... she asked me to do TWO RNA extractions on late Thursday afternoon. Meaning that I only had Friday to do it... since I was flying on Saturday. Thankfully (?) the most important chemical was missing though... hahaha! Otherwise... seriously, it was scary. I've NEVER done RNA extraction before then! And she asked me to try out TWO different RNA extraction methods so she could compare their efficiencies. I'm like... WHUT?
LOL!
Anyway. I'm in such a happy mood today. Feeling all Chrismasy. This week... a colleague got Xmas decorations and we went around putting them up in the office. Like wow. That's the first time I've put up ANY Xmas deco since we don't celebrate it at home. Then the next day was that colleague's bday and she bought a HUGE cake for the whole office. Wow cake! And then... on Thursday... unsup gave out Xmas presents.
And look what I got.
Not the doggy. But the three little critters.
Cute right! Food poisoning!
And she wrapped it up super neatly too. That's the bottom... the top had a round message card.
So cute XD
I posted that on FB and unsup commented that I should sterilise them... esp the middle one that looks pretty mean. LOL. Seriously hilarious.
I got that cup from daiso earlier when I went ice skating with my colleagues... but I was seriously thinking of leaving it empty for use as a cup. Seeing as how ALL my other cups have become pen holders. And there's like 7 cups/penholders on my desk alone. And another 4 penholders on my side table. LOL.
So... I cast my eyes around the desk and found a transparent... box... whatever you call this:
And I looked up to see a nanohold thing that I stuck onto my cupboard...
And very conveniently stuck the box on.
WAHAHHAHA! I like this arrangement! Quarantined bacteria. Maybe I'll take them out once in a while to strangle them. On the practical side, this arrangement is better too. Things get dusty here VERY FAST. And dusty soft toys are very troublesome to deal with. In a sealed box... I just have to wipe the box XD
As for the giant petri dish... it's holding all my decorative tapes from daiso now... XD
So... long weekend for me now (WOW and even longer weekend next week!) and dad took leave next week too so we're planning to go Malaysia on Monday. Traffic is terrible though... I'm no sure if they'll push with that plan... And we're going to a cheap but good French restaurant for dinner today. Reservations all made. Apparently my parents knew about this long ago and have always wanted to try. Some restaurant chef decided to struck out on his own and sell his food at really affordable prices... But because of the lease ending or something they'll close shop next year.
It's been a while since I've posted photos here huh?
Since I'm linked up to instagram I'll share some food photos from dinner of the ice skating trip. We ate at Bali Thai, but all of us ordered just Thai food. I wanna have Japanese food when I go out with them next time hahaha!
I had Phad Thai.
And we ordered a green curry beef to share. The food was really good!
Ah... some more food pics. This one was from the 6th of Dec, when we walked around the mall for hours shopping and eating, for my mum's bday.

Alright! I'll try to post more photos on LJ next time... if there are photos to post hahaha. Either way... I'll try to update LJ more often... though these days my updates have NOTHING to do with Arashi. I've not watched their shows for half a year... and because of that 'half a year' thing hanging over my head, it's become so scary that I don't feel like getting started anymore lol.
But at least I'm making good use of my time. Posting to NM, uncraftables... and so on. Yeah... I'll try and be more productive at home from now onwards! Waste less time just sitting around and doing nothing... Well. Actually, I don't do that. I tend to sit around and play games. Hahahaha. Oh wells. I'll try to do something more of the 'productive' side and less on the 'games'. Hahaha!
