So the busy week continues.

I did manage to screw up the first time I tried plating bacteria... and spreading stuff on the plate... it's not spread that well... that or I 'murder' the agar plate... but well I think I got the hang of it already. My later plates were pretty much without blemishes.

Been so tired... teaching the Phd student too... which is really ridiculous because the first time I did it... he was supposed to be teaching me because I've never done it before, and never used that machine before.

And I'm 'helping' another group concurrently... but yesterday I was so busy that I forgot to retrieve the stuff from the heating block that I put there to burn the day before... when my colleague called me after I left work... I couldn't even remember the term 'heating block'. Epic fail lol. Just too tired lol.

Been trying to catch up with Arashi shows but failing... shows are just building up up up. And there's the new AnS tonight... and my Blast DVD copy will hopefully be arriving soon... it says that it's processing shipping or something. I wonder how long the EMS service of cdjapan will take. Hmm we'll see. People on weibo already got their copy... saw the booklet photos... and they are ripping the video. I'm too tired to actually feel excited now... but I'll definitely download the online sources. Yes even though my copy is probably on it's way here really soon. Cos I want to digital copy! And I'm too lazy to rip it myself (plus with my slow lappy... nah)

Had a nap earlier but I'm still so sleepy... printer broke down. Well the scanner actually... it's a... fax+copier+scanner+printer multi purpose thing... and the scanner broke down. Good thing it's still under warranty so dad is bringing it to the service center. Well it's probably there already. Mean time I'm just yawning and napping at home...

Weather sucks. It's really really hot... then it rains. Then it's really hot and humidity is about 100%. Bleah. Bad weather days.

Yeah... I think they only send on Monday... oh wells... once tomorrow comes I'll probably be so busy at work again that I won't even realise the time has flown by. :P

I'm not too sure if saying this would just add on to your misery or maybe cheer you up a little, but in my entire time in poly, I have never succeeded in plating and getting bacteria to stay on the plates (Always have to turn to a friend for help) to grow. It's a miracle as to how I actually managed to scrape through the practical tests for those modules. Hurhur!! :P

I'm not too sure why I'm not THAT crazy excited about Hawaii Blast too. Probably cus I have my papers coming up and I'm more worried about my rev for it. Ah well. I guess when leaks are out, I'll prolly go nuts and fall in love with them boys all over again. Hehehe!! ;P

hahaha XD nah but bacteria grows just fine. Just that I was trying to grab something in the hood and ended up cutting into the agar once... and other times my method of spreading left a lot of scratches on the agar surface... i don't even know how that happened!

Just hope that they don't over grow tmr hahaha... the rest will be depending on the electrophoresis results...

Haha, you haven't got the slightest idea how many plates of agar I have destroyed in my entire course of study. No. Let's just say in one module will do. HAHAHA!! I ended up doing best in, well, preparing the agar plates because all I have to do is to pour them out. (:

Don´t push yourself too much, try to rest, take it easy or you will get sick, the wather here is similar somedays is really hot and the next day rains a lot O_o.
