coolohohIt's been a crazy week.
Last week it was non-work stuff that made me really, really busy. This week, well it's work. Yesterday I did DNA extraction using a procedure + kit that I've never done before... and then did picogreen again... I did it with the PhD student and I hate to say it... but he's really slow! Like really, really slow! And it didn't help that towards the end of the day I was getting soooo tired. We finished at close to 8pm? And then it was qPCR today. Again he was slow, but at lesat I managed to get my plates done... and he did get his done too. His results still aren't good though... It seems like qPCR aint as easy as I thought? Dunnoe... my results are about the same as before... well not that great for the first plate though. One well with CP value std dev more than 1, and one well with 0.7 std dev. Triplicates, and out of 96 wells... not too bad I guess... still it's been a while since I had any sample of over 1 std dev difference. Needa take a closer look at the results again tmr... needa do the data analysis and all...
It's Chinese New Year eve tmr and half day work... loads of people are on leave already... but well... I gotta get my data analysis done, and I'll send out the results tmr. So it's gonna be another busy morning... oh wells. Been trying to do the AnS review since what... Sunday night? But I've barely got it started. Oh wells.
