Making art using science.

I came across this really cute photo while searching on google...



And it turns out making art with gel electrophoresis is exactly what this workshop is teaching people to do.

Cute! Hahaha!

Waaa true, it's so cute >.<
My last gel electrophoresis experience was when I'm in...my 2nd year junior college, and I'm suck with injecting those samples >.<.
Wonder if they could made Arashi kanji/Arashi word/even your name with it :D

Ahhahahaha! Did you poke through the gel? XD It takes some practice ne? XD

The Arashi kanji word is hard, because it's complicated ne? You'll definitely have to use a big piece of gel, those A4 sized (or bigger) ones like for DNA fingerprinting. The rest is really just a matter of designing the right primers and amplifying DNA of the right length to get the fragments you need to form the picture XD

no I didn't poke through the gel, at first I'm just nervous and get impatient,and the samples kinda spilled over the well, hmph...
Eh it still need a protein samples to form this cute art?
Whoa that need a lot of gel >.< just draw Arashi kanji in paper then -.-

Well either protein or DNA hahahaha

Ahh spilling over, not going low enough. Then there's the opposite who goes too deep down and poke holes through the gel... I'm pretty good with it now though XD
