A quick post...

Ok, just a quick post before I head home for the long weekend.

Well it's polling day in sg tomorrow (I have to vote) so it's a holiday.

Anyway... laser license test next tuesday... and I planned for a bunch of experiments on monday lol. Totally forgot about it. Darn. I need to find time to study.

And... Apple... so apparently I have to wait till the Oct announcement of the new mac OS before they'll announce the retina 4k 21 inch iMac. Darn. I should have checked the rumor mills earlier but I didn't. Darn. Rumors says that it'll start selling in early Nov. So that's... yet another two more months of waiting.

New iPhone releases on my bday in sg. Not that I'll get it for my bday/on that day though... we'll see when I should get it... the other day my dad suddenly asked me why I was getting them all at the same time, cos that way I can't claim it individually from my work... but the yaer only resets in June! I don't want to wait till next year! I think the 4S battery is dying soon. On days when I use it more the battery actually drops to less than 50% by the time I reach the office. And that's just using some apps and surfing the web on my less than 1 hour trip to work! (Actual usage time is even lesser cos I don't use it when I'm walking.)

Gah. All because my 5S died a premature death.

Anyway... greatest concern for me is still the fact that i have to wait another 2 months for my mac. Oh gosh. The wait is killing me. This morning I couldn't sleep and did some stuff on gdocs. Firefox just hanged up and I couldn't even close it. Took me 20 mins to get it to unhang and maybe another 5 mins to wait for firefox to start up. Needless to say I lost all my motivation to do anything after that. Gah.

Thank goodness I have a monster comp at work. And that I'm kinda free at work now since unsup isn't around. Else really, I'd rather just stay at work later to do my Arashi stuff... except that I can't play videos here. Well, all my videos are in the HD which is formatted for macs. And I don't really want to... watch Arashi videos on this huge comp screen AT WORK. Lol. Was translating the Arashi mag the other day and some guy came over and he was like 'wow, you know Japanese'. Lol. Luckily that was just text, no Arashi photos lololol. But yeah... it's kinda obvious I'm doing totally non-work stuff. Still not very nice yeah...? Even though no one really cares.

And then there's the thing about... being too free... people will give me work to do lol.

So yeah... I've been updating twitter, setting up tumblr etc from my workpalce a lot. Including setting up the tumblr and twitter account for arashi_bangumi. Well, I made them sometime back on my lappy, but finally started using them today.

I wonder how long twitter will take to let me use twitter ads for that account. I need it to schedule my tweets. Speaking of which, I should check out twitter ads for my personal twitter account too... not sure if I can think of any tweets to schedule though lol. Hmm... I might become very active on twitter tmr night since it's the polling day hahaha. The results and stuff comes in faster through twitter... but that's provided I can be bothered to follow it like I was so excited to five years ago.

So yeah... so many things I want to do but I'm limited by my lappy. Making gifs and screenshots regularly... in it's current state I think I can't even make any gifs. Everything will just hang up. It's especially bad when video playback is involved. And subs, translations, gifs, screenshots, reviews... all require video playback. Sigh.
