All done!

Ok, so i got quite a few RL stuff settled today.

1) medical check up finally cleared. certified fit by the doctor. so i got a call to re-do my urine test, and when i went down in the late afternoon yest it was way too crowded and they couldnt fit me in f=before closing, and i was told to go back today... which i did this morning and its all settled now.

2) yesterday my earphones died on me. like... only the background music could be heard, no vocals. and its only been like 5 months since i bought the a-jays ><

so yup, i took out my receipt, searched up google for the local distributor, and went down and got my earphones changed. 1 on 1 exchange, no fuss no nothing. ya just have to bring your receipt. now that's the way it should be... got abt 1.5 years left on my warranty. i certainly wouldnt mind getting another pair of jays once the warranty on this one finishes, and by then i shd be rich enough to get a slightly more expensive pair... yup, good service really makes a whole world of difference... from the time i called them the receptionist was helpful and friendly... heck it about how such an expensive/branded piece of earphones managed to spoil in 5 months, which is shorter than most of the other earphones i had previously... but hey i got a replacement fuss free, though the location was a bit out of the way... and they only open on weekdays so once i start work it wont be convenient for me to go down and get a replacement >< meh. gotta take better care of my earphones this time... i shall try not to stuff it in my jeans pocket anymore ><

3) so i saw platinum data manga the other day, but didnt buy it and regretted. the kino at bugis and JEM didnt have it... so undeterred i was determined to go back down to orchard to get the book... thankfully they had one last copy left :P ok it probably was the same solo copy i saw the other day but yup, glad i got it. and then i saw nazodi novel - drama AND movie... and couldnt take it anymore. so yup... 38 bucks gone. and the worst thing is that i'm not ready to read all the japanese novels i've bought yet. too many new words... well i do know the meaning of those kanji (mostly) owing to my chinese background, but i cant read the novel properly so...

yes, i shant be lazy and i shall take a photo of all my japanese books...

3 quarters done with the sherlock novel, but there were some parts of the dialogue in which i was completely lost, even though i've watched the drama already and the manga is following the drama really really closely ><

and yup, as i thought, the eng version of the toto-chan book is just in the cupboard beside my bed... i know we have the chinese version somewhere too, but i've never read that one before :P


yup... so now i'm a happy happy girl. loads of reading up to do... on top of that i've borrwed 8 lib books, only finished 1 so far so that's 7 more to go... gotta spend some time spring cleaning my room too :)

i really really need a new phone NOW

sigh. its been so long since i last used stuff like instagram. so yeah, i was thinking i ought to use to more. and guess what? i totally forgot about how it crashes whenever i try to crop any photo. which means it doesnt work unless i'm taking a photo right now, and not pulling one out from my camera roll. which sucks... e.g. the cake which my fyp student gave me... she had most thoughtfully decorated the cake for me with my name and all, and even wrote a roll of japanese words at the side which she copied off google cos she doesnt know japanese (only thing is that i have no idea what she's trying to say :X). the cake is gone now. happily in our tummies... and so i cant take a photo of it directly from instagram. sigh. so yup, that's the reason why i've not been on all those social media stuff in the long long time...

i promise i'll be on more when i get my new phone!

yesterday my sis checked the telco website in the evening... the stock for the gold iphone came and was sold out within the same day. sigh. even sliver was sold out as well. only the space grey (that i'm most likely getting) still has some stocks left, but running low too. too few stocks, too many buyers. sigh.

ah right, finally got instagram to work now. had to force restart my  phone, which is a really troublesome thing to do when both your on/off and home button is not working properly. i jam both buttons together so many times just to force restart the phone once... and end up with like a dozen screenshots taken in the mean time... oh wells... gold iphone stock pls come in quick? AND let us know when you're here so we can go snatch you up ok?
