ah its been a long time since I'm finally been in the mood to write.

so i quit my aia job on Monday. and of cos my boss wasn’t happy about it. he's making me pay back the fees for the license test, which would add up to over 400bucks... and I'm wondering if i shd even pay. no written agreement over it whatsoever... plus, i barely have over 400bucks in my bank acct now.

the HR got back to me, asking for my certs and transcripts and 2 letters of recommendations. which is... sighz. idk. i emailed my profs who agreed to be my referees for help, but so far no reply. its only been two days but I'm scared they'll ignore me... :X i don't have much people ask me to write the letters after all...

oh yes... on a more positive note... last weekend during the IT show, we got a new printer! the old one had problems detecting the ink cartridges and refused to print anything... so now we've gotten a new one. Brother again... a MFC aka multi function centre this time. meaning that it has fax, which we don't need. but it also has everything else we need and want, and was going for a cheap?/decent? price of $208 so we got it. Duplex, wifi printing (now this one is EXTREMELY useful) and scanning, media center i.e. a USB and SD card slot for direct printing/scanning - my sis would use this a lot. she'd just bring her drawing and a thumbdrive over to save the scanned picture. yeah now even with wifi scanning its... a bit... stupid in the sense that you have to activate the scan from ur device/laptop else the printer will not send the pic over to ur lappy. So while its all nice and dandy for me since the printer is in my room, for everyone else they'll have to either a) do it the old fashioned way and bring your lappy into the room (no desktops in my house) or b) walk in (or get someone to bring the material to the printer), walk back, click scan, walk to the printer again to retrieve your material. kinda... stupid isnt it? of cos if you want to scan it to your phone/ipad, its much easier since the app on the device will let you scan directly to your device... and its much easier to bring the mobile device along to the room together with the scanned material... but if you want the picture on ur comp its much easier to just bring along a thumbdrive.

and cos i was cleaning the printer/computer area to make way for the new printer, i decided to just bring the super old desktop that's been out of commission since years ago out. got that comp like... 13 years or something ago. so finally cleared a space there haha.

and I'm now halfway thru packing my room... since my best friend is coming back to sg tonight and staying over at my house for the short 3 days that she'll be back for... after that... not sure where she's going lol! i assume she's gng to china since her parents are there lol. she's doing her phd at oxford now so... yeah... she got an astar scholarship... vs me who's still looking for a job.

and yes... for the start of the week i've been spending my time installing all the drivers and art software on like... all the computers in the house. except my own. after so many years of just looking at the wacom stall at the IT show each time... my dad finally got a tablet. intuos5. the medium, touch version. costs $619... expensive eh! but yeah, I'm really glad! I'm no good at drawing myself although i do like to dabble around and... pretend? that i can draw? lol. but my sis really loves drawing. so I'm really glad she has a tablet to play with now... tho the thing is now sitting in my room haha... shall install the drivers and stuff on my lappy today. after i pack my room and clear my tables. and after lunch. my mum is bugging me now so ciao!
