To lock or not to lock!

Yay, back to my musings two (or was it 3) days ago… It’s an awkward thing isn't it? This whole blogging aka online diary thing in general. I'd like people to read it, that's why i blog online, but sometimes I'd like to select my audience too. Like e.g. i don't want my parents to be chancing upon my blog. My parents know i play games alright, but not how many, or how much, and don't know how much money i've spent on them since years ago when i 1st started spending. Coupled together it’s a huge sum. I don't keep track, but its thousands of dollars over the years that I'm sure. The largest chunk of the spending would be from maple alone. Played that game the longest and spend the most time and money on it… recently my dad's gotten himself on Facebook and since i've auto set up my blogs to post to Facebook… i gotta make sure the privacy settings are correct.

Also i have a separate Facebook for all my gaming screenshots… but now its mostly just maple stuff. The thing is, i called it darkiller tg but my dad knows i use darkiller as my nick… since years back when i was still using sony ericsson and named my phone darkiller. He saw it when we send each other files over bluetooth… So that day… you know how Facebook likes to suggest ppl and all? He saw that darkiller acct and was like 'hey isn't that yours?' Sighz. Maybe i should go and block him from that account now. Since all i put there are my screenshots and gaming stuff, so the entire account is open for all to see. :X 

Recently i've been posting to my LJ a lot more than my more… public blogs, and for good reasons too. Here on LJ, i don't have any RL friends. You guys don't know me personally, and that makes me more willing to open up more. Its like what nine's character said in freeter. The more familiar you are with people, the less you have to say to them… yeah. That kind of feeling. Also it can be awkward when i say something more personal and ends up offending my friends unintentionally or something. Or maybe sometimes i did rant about my uni friends online, and that's not something that I'd like her to see really. Yeah i like to be anon online, but with my blogs being linked to Facebook and all that… I'm anon on my blog alright, but chances are ppl gets directed to my blog from Facebook or twitter, and some of those reading my blogs know me personally. Which is fine 90% of the time, i want ppl to read my blog, else i wouldn’t be writing a blog. But at the same time, there's some stuff that i don't want my close friends to read. Hence the reason why I'm now hiding and writing it here in LJ. I link out from my LJ, but i'd never link from outside the LJ comm/arashi fandom into my LJ, and it shall stay that way… in the near future at least. My secret little retreat of sorts that i only intend to let my sister + her/my friend who's an arshi fan know when/if i let them read my fanfics. Well my sis doesn’t care about my blogs and all for the most part and that's fine with me. Still, if you know me on FB/twitter/msn, and you see my LJ, you'll know its me. Esp my close friends… the userid is the same as my gmail, yes coolohoh@gmail.com… it’s the same orange biohazard display pic as everywhere else… yup. So much so for being anonymous when I'm hiding behind the same orange mask right? As much as its easy to hide your tracks online, with the increase of social media and stuff its also getting harder - once you've used your real name anywhere that is. I still have this maple friend… rather close in maple, i've known him for quite a long time… almost since the time i started playing maple 6 years ago? Added him on fb and all that, met up in RL quite a few times, but i still don't know his real name. Granted, i don't stalk his fb and all, but he doesn’t use his real name on Facebook even though he has several fb accounts (mules to play mouse hunt, just like me), whereas for me Facebook was the 1st time ever that i used my real name online. And i do have a lot of RL friends on my fb too, even though i have way more ppl that i don't know (from all the fb games i used to play, now all quoted save for mouse hunt). I know many ppl have been clearing out their friends list though… for me, i just put all the unknown ppl into a huge group called fb and gave that group very limited access to my info and all. :X (You're welcome to add me on FB, just send a message saying you're from the arashi fandom else i won't add you or i'll add but 'lock' you out).

Yeah… so this is a dilemma that i've always had… i guess that enough for now. Now i just wanna go watch last week's HnA XD

HnA 8th Nov 2012 Part 1 - Share House Segment

So i kinda disappeared for a bit ne? I originally wanted to do this on Friday… then VSA took too long. Then sat i was out (had a GREAT time with my family though, for some unknown reason my dad was in a splendid mood), yesterday i was too lazy… and tada! Its Monday and i have still not watched HnA. The reason i hate taking so long to write, apart from the time gone, is that i end up having to wait very long before i can watch my shows! If i watch w/o writing at the same time, most likely I'd just be too lazy to re-watch and write. Or if i do, that'll be like a million years later.

Alright, lets began! Video from Hachi.A :)

3 of them today… eh wait THREE? I can't rem last week's preview… but 3 of them? Somebody mentioned right as the start the the game has ended. J: How many hours of game (have we played)? N: 5? Around 5. J: Amazing…! N: I'm tried already! 

Ah… The unknown 3rd person walks off to elsewhere leaving N and J. That got me confused for a while -.-''' They start talking about how today's guest is rare/special, someone you've probably never seen before. (as in, never appeared on the show before as guests i think)Night time filming again. Probably close to 10pm already would be my guess… since they mentioned the actual recording time once when becky came and once when the 10 comedians came it was just past 10pm.

J looks at some unknown stuff for a while before nodding his head and looking at the camera. They didn’t film what he was looking at though.

Yay and it starts! The share house segment i mean :P

AHHHHHH now we get it. The  start off with talking about how J and N hasn’t paired up for this segments in a while, since the special. Then N complains that the 5 hour long wait was terrible. The staff helpful tells us the filming for the 'If you're an adult you should know it' segment ended 5 hours ago. Hahaha XD So they've been playing games since then eh? XD J: Talking about that, today since you've entered TBS, you've been games for very long hours.. N: Yes very long! Today's guest is Chara! I love it when i don't have to google around for their romanji names XD Chara-san hardly ever goes on variety, hence the reason why the keep saying 'rare'. Chara-san is speaking really softy…! They start off by talking about the last time they meet… in some music show. She requested for the Nino or something. J asked why she requested for him and she replied that it was cos he WAS popular. In the past tense. She correctly herself but only after Nino swatted her XD. She looks rather young (though sounds old), but she's actually 44 with a 17 year old daughter and a 12 year old son! She warns them not to get close to her daughter XD (which of cos J and N said she's too young anyway)She wakes up at 5:30am everyday to make bento for her kids! They start asking about her house… and she says her has various instruments around the house… J admits that he can't play any instrument although he's got a guitar and keyboard at home… Nino seems to have gotten bored (actually me too, its not boring per say but the tension was really low… as can be seen by my lacklustre commentary) and decides its time to eat. It a dish that her son like… and aiba. Too bad aiba isn't here today. Mabo tofu! *claps* They start cooking! J's task is to grind the peppers. She asks what cuisine they'd want their girlfriends to make for them. J say's crab cream croquette… wahhhhhh i love croquettes too! And crab cream omg! *drools* Chara-san complains that its really troublesome to make. XD And nino? Hamburger XD. How expected ne? 

Nino and guest laughing at J's crab cream, cos its so troublesome to make. nino say's he'll never meet a girl who makes the dish. (MJ fans, you all know what to do! XD)

Done! Or not… 

She forgot to put in the peppers that J grounded LOL!

After leading her to talk about her friends… one of Chara's friends show up!

J and N are planning something while the new guest talks… i bet its about serving Aiba drink XD Ah… today's Share House is really really weird. The tension is like 0, occasionally jumping up to 5 or 10, then back to 0 in an instant. (out of a scale of 100.) The 'Adult show' segment is really hilarious though :)

Yay finally something more funny :P Ok, it was aiba tea and not aiba drink XD Guest2 (sorry, can't catch her name T.T) did an imitation of chara-san long ago. Chara wants to see it but guest says she can't do it w/o music accompaniment and so… Tada, Nino brings out the guitar!

So Chara  play for the imitation Chara lol!

The two starts rehearsing while Nino makes himself more comfortable...

HnA 8th Nov 2012 Part 2 - Adult Show Segment

Ok here's part 2! I just feel like calling it 'Adult Show' segment although it can have very wrong connotations… :X A proper translation would be 'its normal for adults to be able to do it' or 'if you're an adult, you can do it' show.

Guest team… VS

J's waving very enthusiastically here. I think 5 hours of waiting + a very low tension guest didn’t help the share house segment :P

The 1st question! 75% of the salary man in doing something (Japanese fail) in tokyo train station could answer this question.

Nino is going to answer the 1st question… but before that, the MC asks Nino a question, catching nino TOTALLY off guard XD. MC: Tell as a recent episode in which you felt like an adult. N: Going back to my home (as in his old home where he's parents stay) during the New Year and sorting out the documents (not sure exactly what he was sorting out. Once again, Japanese not good enough).

Lets see if both of them are 'adults' XD

N: EH?

Photos! Qn: look at the photos and answer the names of the buildings!

N: Names of the buildings??? X n J:  Nino really rarely goes out of the house… hahaha nino!

I wonder if he knows and is just teasing everyone LOL! N: The name of the building isn't written here?

Lol so that's why he's scrutinising the photo like this lol! N: Just nice cos of the shadow (or something) so it can't be seen… hahaha the staff won't let you cheat nino XD

In the other challenge room, suzuki-san makes his answer!

Nino rearranges the photos a little. J helpfully explains that it’s the position of the Japan islands…

Exact same answer as suzuki. See i told you he was just teasing!

Nino was terribly unsure of his answer though, but everyone was surprised that he managed to answer it!

2nd qn! 82% of the ppl walking at some location which i do not know got the question correct!

ooo wow! Calligraphy?

Nino let out a big yelp when the qn was announced :P. Qn: Write your own full name in the correct stroke order. Eeps. When was the last time i wrote my own name in Chinese? A few years ago? :X N: This is good, that was dangerous. (seems like he hardly writes too XD or maybe it’s the calligraphy he's afraid of…?)

Anyway they start writing :)

Eh? There's a total of 4 characters in her name… but not enough space? XD

LOL. The last part's quite pathetic... all squished together :P

Passed! hmm well i think its not that hard after getting all the drills you get as a little kid. i rem my mum constantly scolding me for my terrible handwriting, wrong strokes etc etc when i was a kid :X

Takada was saying the 'Da' of his name is the most basic… but then… he got the order wrong -.-''' The horizontal line in the middle is supposed to be written first...

As J demonstrates… (sorry, if you're really interested to know, watch the video or google it or something :P)

And then again! That stroke as you can guess from the font, its supposed to go from right to left… but he wrote it from left to right… o.o

Bye bye! LOL XD Ahhh… some googling told me that the stroke order for 田 in chinese and japanese is different. Didn’t know that! So the only thing he got wrong was the most obvious. Ouch. (wait, that means J got it wrong too :P )

Qn 3! 73% of the shoppers at harajuku got it right…! Let's see if J can get it right! J's 'adult' episode: Some time ago i went out to eat alone at a soba place. Beside me, someone sat down as well. The voice was familiar so when i looked up, i saw that it was Tanaka-san (yes, the one who wrote his name wrong). Tanaka: Yeah, when he was leaving he greeted me. That was done like an adult.

So let's see if J can pull is off as nino did :)

Omg sho and candle blowing again HAHAHA. The last time he did it was with Ohno too, and Sho failed miserably! XD

Yes… i have now made a tumblr account… Find me over here! Its probably gonna be awash with the screen caps from arashi shows though… :P. That's if i don't forget about it. But since i've got it set up with MarsEdit… it might be a little hard to forget about that thing ne? :P Maybe i'll post link interesting stuff that i read in there too, like i do with twitter n FB… Gonna watch the NewsZero AnShi soon.
