Happy Birthday Aiba-chan!
Dec. 24th, 2011 02:51 amWoots! its 2:19am... on Christmas eve!!! yes! that means its aiba's bday hohoho! not that i'm doing anything special... but hey i actually remembered about his bday (and xmas), so that's quite an improvement (considering i even forgot about MY OWN bday, i thought my sis got the wrong person when she wished my happy bday on msn after 12mn :S). maybe it's cause the xmas decorations are everywhere and i get loads of reminders from my friends feed here in LJ XD. reading fanfics has become like... a daily routine for me now XD
hmm... aiba-chan... well he isnt my ichiban, but still its really hard to list rankings in arashi... they are who they are, and as they have always/often said, only 5 of them makes arashi - they all bring different personalities to the group and the group will simply not be the same if anyone is missing...
when i 1st got to know arashi, aiba was one of the 1st guy i recognised - i labelled him the 'not so handsome guy' haha... MJ was the 'girly guy' (cos of his HYD curls in the group photo on magazine cover my sis got) aiba was well... quite normal looking to me than? but now when i see him in varieties, he's forever the sunshine and baka guy... full of laugher and often making stupid remarks. What leaves the greatest impression to me about aiba is his A no Arashi segments of course, which even went on to become the 'odoroki no jikan SP' (pardon me if i got the romanji wrong, i'm just too lazy to go check :S) which aired during golden time. Some of the experiments were boring and so simple that you wondered why that natural air head didn’t learn that in primary school - like how he tried to see if a light bulb would take a longer time to light up if there was 100m or like 500m of wires between the bulb and the light source... -.-''' there was, no difference of cos... But other experiments were really interesting, even if most (if not all) of them were plain stupid... stuff like if he could float up by the power of vaccum cleaners, or if he could fly by attaching tons of balloons to his back... very fun to watch indeed. Even simple things like what would happen if you burst a balloon when it's submerged in thick erm... syrup? not sure what that thing was... it wasn’t stuff you'd get to do everyday, so it was really interesting to watch them perform it. As compared to the corner they'd had twice now on himitsu about the 'rumors, are they true or false' thing... many of that had simple scientific backgrounds to it, and were stuff that could be easily reasoned out if you had some knowledge and cared to think... where as like... who would know how deep frying egg shells would turn out till you actually tried it? Or pickled strawberries anyone? Hmm am i making any sense here? I really want more of A no Arashi! T.T
Next thing about aiba would definitely be animals... him and his tensei shimurai dobutsuen appearances... i've watched a few of the episodes, but not much... its not like aiba's the main character of the show and i'm not THAT interested in the other guests so i couldn’t get myself to sit down and watch episode after episode of that show... ok, maybe its just cos variety programs aren't exactly meant for marathons - i got sick of watching vs and HnA episode after episode back to back pretty soon too. But aiba, his cute personality, and animals seems to go really well together ne?
ahhhh.... watched the last episode of HnA for the year just now... more like... in the afternoon yesterday... if i didn’t catch the words wrongly, it should be the last episode till 12th of jan next year? sad :( no vs either till 3rd jan :( noooooooo T.T. The next HnA episode sure looks interesting tho... Ohno as the MC again... hahaha... with nino this time... and what does it mean when Ohno's the MC? it means they'll go fishing! And this time, instead of only getting to fish in a restaurant, he actually went out to the sea with the guest! Yes, Ohno was having a ball of a time with the guest...! Eh? what happened to nino? Oh wait... the guy who's supposed to keep the guest company has... seasickness! They showed him standing around on the docks looking terribly bored with the fishing rod... lol... Ohno's really mean ne? Just dumping nino there like this hahaha... can't wait to see that episode XD
woots... its nearly 3am now... i shd go sleep... going out with my friend tmr... can't wake up at 1pm like i did yesterday :S
