Yes exactly! No one posts any news on lj, even if they do, it's always much later than twitter etc... and I don't really use twitter/tumblr either. Eh? No idea about that Assassination thing. What's that? A movie?
I sign up to the fanblog http://arashifordream-crazycami.blogspot.sg/ They usually post the news the day after, and mostly only news from official sources, like news paper clippings and stuff... Well at least I get the email notification the day after... :P I don't actually visit the blog these days, I only read 'em from my mail.
