i've been looking at my fics...
I've been looking at my list of fics and...
gosh. I have way more Yama fics than Ohmiya. And frankly speaking... thanks to joining the Yama pair lovers group on FB, I feel as if my OTP has switched from Ohmiya to Yama.
Yes... i actually 'revamped' my fic masterpost so now I also have my fics listed by pairing. Since actually the listing my length is... pretty pointless since everything i write and publish falls on a one shot category. --> none of my chaptered fics are finished and so they are unpublished, to spare everyone the agony of waiting for the next chapter which may only come two years later.
Oh wells.

I love them all so its fine... and as for fics as long as there's Ohno in the pairing i'll read :p (well if I'm interested in the story that is...)
Benn wanting to expand my writing to include other pairings like Juntoshi and Ohba... well at least have more of those. Heck... been wanting to write more fics... but i can't help it if I'm dry... 10 minute fics need to come more often ><
Feel so... empty recently and keep feeling like publishing something. I've had quite a lot of works recently huh? Like a new VSA review, and a few fics... certainly a lot more than last year, esp in terms of fics. I feel that now i can actually keep my promise of doing say... 1 or 2 reviews a month. Somehow just feeling very enthusiastic now haha. Have I been more active on LJ? Idk... but maybe I'm commenting more on fics? I made a few friends with fic writers and I must say, thank you so much for friending me and taking the time to comment on my lengthy intro post :P
I'm surprised that ppl remember me because I'm commented on every chapter, and I'm glad my little comments make people really happy. But then again, I'm the same myself. I'm grateful for every comment I get on my fics, and i practically crave comments after a 'marathon' review session (since I take wayyy too long per review). I'd always look forward to seeing the emails from LJ the next day after i post a review... and sometimes if no one happens to post any through the night I'd be a little sad. It does make me feel bad because it seems as if I'm... idk. Demanding attention? Or comments at least. But it really makes my happy and the time spent on reviews worth while. And also it makes me want to write another. And another :P So I guess that's a good thing for everyone right? XD Hmph. I ought to go catch up on my Arashi tv watching... so that this weekend i can review like... today's VSA or something. Or the episode that Ohno make it up the cliff climb chin in record time. I want to review that episode... been thinking that I should just do the review for cliff climb so that i can save time and review other episodes... or watch the Nama Arashi I downloaded weeks ago and is now taking up ~15 gb in my comp. I refuse to move it to my ext HD till i've watched it, but now my comp is desperately running out of space... ah... ><
Work has been ok. Did a bunch of qPCR these two days... maybe i'll repeat the plate i ran today though. The results are... fine except for the blanks which are showing results. I can't tell if it’s a contamination from the plate or from the primers and probes... gotta prepare new ones next week. Speaking of which i hope i get access to the online booking system soon. Now i've gotta book it through my sup which is a little troublesome. Gonna book it online though, instead of just using the machine. The machine is pretty much only used like once a month, but it had to be booked when i wanted to use it last week. I found it suspicious that the machine was on and all, but i reasoned that pretty much no one ever uses that machine anyway... and went ahead with my run. But in the end someone WAS gonna use it, so i 'stole' his slot. Which isnt very nice. He was perfectly ok with it and all, a very nice guy. But still, not nice of me even though I was ignorant of the online booking system till then. Hopefully i'll get access to the system by next week... my sup was pretty impressed by my speed of work. Well he kinda scared me when he sent an email asking for the qpcr results like on Tuesday... when all i did was DNA extraction and more DNA extraction, but I only had time to do one plate of qPCR. So i did two plates yesterday and one today, and that finishes all my qPCR till more samples come in next Monday... except for the debate on whether to repeat today's experiment or not. I guess i'll prepare fresh reagents next week and see how it goes. Gotta buck up on my reading so i know what to do with all that data too haha...
