Indeed, the weekend is a terrible time to go. My buddy didn't want to take leave though so we didn't have much choice. I think it was exacerbated by the fact that it was the last weekend before the new tax kicks in... Didn't learn about it till much later.

Hope you'll be well enough to make a trip there soon! They are getting smarter about what to stock up - loads more drinks and snack choices this time. Even all the special kit kat flavors that I lugged home from Tokyo last time...

Still waiting for them to open one in Jurong. Maybe next year!
